Richard
Rene has been writing for over 20 years. He began by writing poetry, crafting each line for hours at a time. In 1994, he began writing prose, and a number of his short stories were published in Canadian literary journals such as UBC’s Prism International and Fiddlehead, out of the University of New Brunswick. In 2001, he completed his first novel, which was published in 2007 as The Nightmare Tree. Another novel, The Edge of Mysterion was published by Conciliar Press and is now available.
Richard branched into commercial writing in 2007 with ads and direct mailers that he crafted as carefully as poems (see samples of his work). His availability is flexible according to the needs of his clients and enjoys working from home, which allows him to freedom to spend more time with his wife Jaime and his three children.
